Carissa s family has deep roots in Jefferson County. She and her husband have moved around a bit but they returned back home three years ago to help her aging parents. Carissa s mother has suffered from multiple sclerosis for many years and her dad has dementia. The Heaps recently found out that Randy has a severe case of earlyonset dementia and brain tumors. He is no longer able to work and they frequently take trips to Salt Lake City so he can receive medical care. Their vehicles all have over 150, 000 mil
