A Tour of The Great Dollhouse of lady Lita de Ranitz

( Klein, kleiner, groots. ) In a change to my schedule, I visited an exhibition of the Great Dollhouse of lady Lita de Ranitz, at the The Hague Historical Museum. It is one of my favourite dollhouses From the museum website: The Great Dollhouse, one of Lita de Ranitz s miniature marvels from her dollhouse collection, was equipped with all the modern conveniences. But this is not the only thing that makes her collection special: it actually tells a detailed story of The Hague in 1910. In September 1910, a flag was raised on a house under construction in The Hague. It was no ordinary house, but a modern miniature villa built for lady Lita de Ranitz. This miniature villa, known as The Great Dollhouse, was equipped with different types of modern conveniences.
