Hiking the Baggy Point Loop Trail Part of the Southwest Coastal Path. ( Croyde Bay North Devon)
Baggy Point is a headland in north Devon, England. It separates Croyde Bay and Morte Bay which includes the beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough. The hiking trail that leads out to the point from Croyde bay and around to Putsborough is part of the Southwest coastal path. From out on the point you ll get to see some stunning scenery, amazing sea views and if you are lucky you ll get to watch a climber or two climbing out on the point. There is also evidence of human occupation from the Mesolithic era and it was used during World War II by American forces training for the Normandy Landings.
