Cool cigarbox guitar: Fiona Boyes Louisiana a tribute to NOLA played with whiskey bottle slide

On a recent hot sweaty Summer day in Australia, I just felt like playing this beautiful, original song: Louisiana. The song features on my awardwinning album Box Dice, which I wrote around two newly acquired cigarbox instruments, a rare National ResoLectric Baritone and my trusty tour guitar, my custom Maton Mastersound. This song is a tribute both to the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. Isnt it strange how you can love and miss a place that youve dreamed about, but never visited As it turned out by recording this heartfelt song, I DID get to tour the album in the US AND visit NOLA, including playing my first shows there The instrument Im playing with my little whiskey bottle is called the FB Australian Classic.
