Hang Urgu presentation

The Hang Urgu offers a strong pulselike bass (78 Hertz, Eb2) and a rich percussive palette. The bass can be lowered by up to one octave by varying the hand s position in the Gu opening. Its ringding is tuned to an Eb chord and serves a double function: a sound source as well as a place to excite the air which produces the bass.
