God Supplies More Than A Stimulus

These are the days we are hearing a lot about stimulus or a stimulus plan. When you hear of that, many times it takes on the meaning of the government or some agency or higher power putting in monetary means to stimulate the economy. In today s message, we have a group of a hundred young men under the teachings of Elisha. They are referred to as the sons of the prophets; they are facing famine, that of physical food. On this day a man came and dropped off a package with food for Elisha and Elisha told the servant to give it to the men and let them eat it. His servant reported to him that what he had received was not enough to feed 100 men. Elisha stayed with his previous words, give it to them to eat. He gave it to them and when they were all fed there were still leftovers. God always does more than a stimulus, what He gives there is always enough and more leftover.
