While trying to find a song for Allie to sing, I found out that Allie writes her own songs. Since I really like the idea of guests on my show singing songs they write, I asked if I could listen and learn one of her songs. At first, she was apprehensive about having me do that. But eventually, she became open to me learning a song of hers called Dear Mr. Rogers, a dedication to her favorite TV personality Fred Rogers.
