Mäleficentt Night of Eternal Darkness (full album, 2020)

The latest release from Californiabased label and (pretty much) oneman circle of bands, Night of the Palemoon, is the second fulllength from Mäleficentt Night of Eternal Darkness. Raw, visceral and malicious tremolotrance black metal in the vein of Burzum, Satanic Warmaster, Crebain that is a perfect actualisation of that classic feral atmosphere in highenergy form; Veiled in Gloom is like a turbocharged Det Som En Gang Var, and it does plenty enough more of its own. Great stuff, from the same man behind another of this years great bands; the Indigenous North Americaninfluenced Ixachitlan. A vinyl version of Night of Eternal Darkness will be available through Asrar, and cassettes will be through Night of the Palemoon sometime in the future.
