Dsquared2 Fall 2012: High School Dance in Early 60s Mod Style, Milan Fashion Week MFW, Fashion TV
SUBSCRIBE: MILAN A colorful 60s theme was running rampant at the Dsquared2 Fall, Winter 20122013 which seemed like a vibrant color statement amidst the dark and dreary themes of the season. Even the hair, when not covered by a hairraising hat, had a high bouffant 60s kick But while the 60s theme was in full effect here, so was the retro high school prom atmosphere set against the back drop of a mod collection. During the second half of the show, the lights dimmed and a disco ball came out signifying party time Ironically, designers Dean and Dan Caten usually prefer girls that are more bad than good, but aside from the cigarettes, that wasn t the case here. Bubble gum colors, mohair sweaters, cropped pants, striped mink, and lame made for a bright collection with a happy air. Appearances: Bette Franke, Frida Aasen, Monika Jac Jagaciak, Anais Pouliot, Jasmine Tookes, Cara Delevingne, Cora Emmanuel, Ava br, br,
