Zaatri Djinn ( Catherine van Campen, 2016)
Children are masters at making something out of nothing. A ball of paper becomes a football, a grasshopper becomes the first inhabitant of a mini zoo. We see this on a large scale in the Jordanian desert, where theres nothing but sand, unbearable summers and winters with snowstorms. In the middle of this desert, a few tents were placed for a couple of hundred Syrian refugees. Out of nothing a city arose, with shops, districts, bars and playgrounds, a city with inhabitants of which 80 per cent are children.
