Trump decries whistleblower complaint at Scalia swearing in
President Donald Trump on Monday called a phone conversation he had with Ukraine s president perfect and said the whistleblower who filed a complaint about the call reported a totally different statement and made it sound Trump spoke during the swearingin of Eugene Scalia, the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, as the secretary of labor. Following the swearingin in the Oval Office, Trump spoke to reporters in the midst of increasing pressure over a whistleblower complaint. The complaint centers on a July call between Trump and the president of Ukraine, where Trump pushed for dirt to be dug up on 2020 presidential contender Joe Biden and his family. The complaint, in part, helped launch the official start of an impeachment inquiry by the House against Trump.
