MOTD 1980, me and dad meet spurs

19810207. My Dad and I are lifelong Tottenham fans and in 1981 the Club gave us a treat to celebrate the successful eye surgery we had both just had. The Club treated us like royalty and we walked out at halftime onto the pitch. Both Spurs and Leeds fans made us feel at home. Match of the Day covered the story and our 11 draw, where we got to see our idols Steve Perryman, Glenn Hoddle and others at the Lane for the first time. Dad and I were interviewed on TV receiving a signed ball and shirt from Gleen Hoddle. Thanks THFC. An unforgettable memory.
