Extreme C, U of a woman s ankles. Camera tilts up to show her silk stockings. They have a seam running right the way up the back. C, U of silk worm grubs. We see the silk worms eating mulberry leaves. C, U of them munching on leaves. C, U of a nest like affair covered with a silk web. C, U of one of the grubs climbing around on a twig. Various shots of the maggot like creatures. We see one of the grubs making a cocoon. C, U of moth emerging from its cocoon. The size of the silk moth is demonstrated as its cocoon and the moth itself are held between a human s fingers. The moth is stroked and picked. The moth is pulled away from its cocoon then placed back on it. You have seen the beginning of silk you know the M, S of a woman fixing a stocking to her suspenders she stands in front of a dressing table with large mirrors. C, U of the woman s legs.
