Chattanooga is a song originally written by Preston Reed. It appears on Andy McKees EP, Symbol (releases in September 2021). Its an EP of new interpretations of songs that have inspired Andy McKee, and Preston was a huge source of inspiration for Andy. You can stream Chattanooga here: Andy says Guitarists have incorporated percussion into guitar playing for many years, but Preston took it to another level by making the percussion a consistent element throughout his music. My decision to pursue the acoustic steel string guitar was directly a result from watching Preston play the guitar when I was 16 years old.
