Beijing 2022 Olympic Villages welcome first guests ahead of official opening Thursday

The Beijing Winter Olympics is less than 2 weeks away, and all three Olympic Villages are welcoming their first guests today. Over 20 delegations have part of their teams checked in. One village is near Beijing s city center, another in the city s northwest Yanqing District, and one in Zhangjiakou of neighboring Hebei Province. The guests are moving in, ahead of the facilities official opening on Thursday. Organizers say all personnel for the Games will be in a closedloop management system, to lower the risks of COVID.
