BBC: Russias Eurovision star Manizha threatened

In her first interview with international media, Russias entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has spoken of the hatred shes received after being selected to represent the country. Manizha has been met with a barrage of abuse from nationalist politicians and online commentators. The Tajikborn pop star, who is an outspoken supporter of the LGBT community, womens rights and migrants, is heading to Rotterdam with a female empowerment anthem Russian Woman.
