Dame Alicia Markova Solo and Pas de Deux from The Nutcracker

This is footage of Dame Alicia Markova in one of her most famous roles, that of the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. The first longer section of film shows Dame Alicia performing her solo outdoors in 1942. It captures the exquisite lightness and precision for which she was famed. If anyone has any further information about this footage that would be great In the second snippet of film, which unfortunately has no audio, the ballerina is partnered, I presume, by Anton Dolin.
