The NO WTO Combo Electronic Plantation (1999) HQ

This performance of the NO WTO Combo was recorded during the November 1999, World Trade Organization ministerial meeting in Seattle. The combo consists of Jello Biafra, Gina Mainwal, Krist Novoselic and Kim Thayil. The performance took place during demonstrations that descended into chaos. There were acts of violence against property. Police fired tear gas to try and disperse protestors. Downtown Seattle was caught in a moment of mayhem, and in the middle of it all, the NO WTO Combo played this set.
