Why its time to, Recognize Crimea
This year marks the seventh anniversary of Crimeas reunification with Russia. Unfortunately, it will also mark seven years of an allout American embargo on the peninsula that effectively punishes Crimeans for the crime of exercising democracy. In fact, Crimea is arguably the origin story for the US and Russias turn towards hostility in recent years, but its a story that is largely misrepresented and misunderstood.
