Fender Precision Bass Alder Vs. Basswood body

Here is a video and sound sample of my basswood precision bass body. I have also recorded similar examples with a standard alder body. In both examples I went for a direct signal from the pickups(seymour duncan spb3 quarter pound precision pickup) and used a one piece maple neck, graphtech black tusq nut, leo quan badass 2 bridge amd hipshot ultralite tuners. The neck on the basswood body is a jazz bass neck with slightly fresher strings. The tone of the 2 bodies is very similar with the basswood lacking a
