Hey guys, I decided to post something a bit different this time for a change of pace. This is a video I filmed while recording some power, heavy metal stuff back in 2020 for a band from Russia called МвМ (short for Мужчины в Металле which should translate to something like Men in Metal ). I don t usually play this kind of music and it was a pretty interesting experience. Another important takeaway for me (and for all of you who care) is that I barely learned the parts, structures of the songs prior to entering the studio. You can see me turning away all the time watching my laptop which I used to run Guitar Pro 5 tabs as sort of cheat sheets in parallel with recording the acoustic drums. I was pretty happy and impressed by how well I could just read the music and record it on the go.
