The Race World Offshore Key West Championships is an exciting annual event that brings the world s top offshore boat racers to Key West. Based in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Team Allen Lawncare is ready for the 2021 season with a new cockpit paring in its 32foot Doug Wright catamaran. McDowell and Allen have been practicing in the teams 32foot Doug Wright catamaran on the Lake of the Ozarks, their homewater, in Central Missouri. In 2017, the team earned Super Boat International world, national and Florida championships. Two years later, the team finished fourthplace overall in its class during the inaugural sixrace American Power Boat Offshore Championship Series, which saw some of the largest and more competitive Super Stockclass fleets in the history of the sport.
