exhibition: FilOPiNOS Written and Directed by Brandon Bautista CoDirected with Britney Quiroz In 1904, the United States held the Worlds Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. One of the exhibits was a human zoo of my people. Theatre is sort of an exhibit. In an unnamed city in the Bay Area, California, a family of FilipinoAmericans inherit a rundown restaurant, a suburban home, and a Filipina housekeeper. What happens when the establishment of a legacy clashes with the healing of another exhibition: FilOPiNOS is a new play by Brandon Bautista, exploring the ways that Filipinos live in art and are observed in life.
