Haskell Small, piano. Dedicated to a family friends daughter, Für Alina is written in the composers signature tintinnabuli style. It is an overtly simple piece in b minor, yet it exudes a deeply mystic resonance by means of its very slow, ultra quiet singing line on top of a suspended drone in the bass.
