Good ball work producing Australias first try with Irvine touching down. They follow up with some robust play and then another try with Johnny King going over. England come back and Hardisty picks up a loose pass and runs to the line. Australia pile on the pressure and Irvine score again. After a bit of trouble, England forward Cliff Watson gets his marching orders and leaves the field. Ron Lynch goes over again for Australia so do Irvine and the final score is 1814. M. S.
