Asian Journalist Allegedly Denied promotion For Being Minority

Asian American journalist says she was denied anchor promotion for being the wrong minority. An Asian American journalist who previously worked at Kansasbased Fox 4 (WDAFTV) is reportedly suing the stations parent company over her former news directors alleged refusal to promote her for being the wrong minority. Megan Murphy, better known as Megan Dillard, started working for Fox 4 in 2014 under a threeyear contract, according to the suit. In 2017, she signed a new threeyear deal when the station promoted her to news anchor.
