Chinese New Year 2022 Chinatown London Year of the Tiger Lunar New Year Celebrations

Walking Londons Chinatown on the eve of the Chinese Year New, which falls on the 1st February 2022, celebrating the Year of the Tiger. The tour begins at Trafalgar Square, where the recording of Chinese Year New celebrations is taking place. Then we jump to Chinatown London to see the festivities, including a New Year Night Market selling authentic Chinese delicacies, cultural toys and trinkets, traditional calligraphy and paper lanterns. Unfortunately for the second year running the usual Lunar New Year celebrations have been scaled back, including the cancellation of the popular street parade.
