Highway 101was an Americancountry musicband founded in 1986 byPaulette Carlson(lead vocals), Jack Daniels (guitar), Curtis Stone (bass guitar, mandolin), and Scott Cactus Moser (drums). With Carlson as lead vocalist, Highway 101 recorded three albums forWarner Bros. RecordsNashville and charted ten consecutive Top Ten hits on theHot Country Songschart, four of which went to Number One. After Carlson left in 1990 to pursue a solo career, Highway 101 recorded a fourth album for Warner withNikki Nelsonon lead vocals before exiting the label.
