Part 1 Synopsis Based on real events, this made for TV drama focuses on the life of Ira Einhorn (Kevin Anderson) a political activist charged with murder in the 70s. When Holly Maddux (Naomi Watts) tries to end her relationship with Einhorn, she suddenly disappears, only to be discovered later in a trunk in Einhorn s apartment. Charged with her murder, Einhorn escapes to France, where he manages to avoid extradition for the next twenty years. Holly s father (Tom Skerritt) however, is not about to let his daughter s murderer escape justice, and sets out to track him down.
