A Northrop Grumman Antares 230+ rocket launched the CRS15 Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed the S. S. Katherine Johnson, from MARS Pad 0A, at NASAs Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia, on 20 February 2021, at 17:36 UTC (12:36 EST). For the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) NG15 mission, Cygnus delivers approximately 3628 kilograms (8, 000 pounds) of research, crew supplies, and hardware to the International Space Station and is scheduled to arrive on 22 February 2021. The NG15 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named in honor of Katherine Johnson, a NASA mathematician that delivered calculations that were critical to the success of numerous human spaceflight missions.
