Percy And Mary Honri (1936)
No titles. Commentator introduces Percy Honri of concertina fame and his daughter Mary Honri. Pathe Studio, London. Percy, playing concertina, and his daughter Mary, playing accordion, stand on the set, wearing evening dress. They play a selection of melodies, including Why Did She Fall For The Leader Of The Band and Mary sings Gypsy Violins, Play Your Song Of Love (during which she hits and sustains some very high notes). Percy then introduces songs of long ago. They then play Two Lovely Black Eyes and Down At The Old Bull Bush. I really like Percy He has a very cheeky and expressive face, and looks like he is really enjoying playing these tunes (they both do), silently mouthing some of the words as he plays. Mary looks a bit like Lyn Redgrave SL. This is duplicate of item in New Sound Pictorial NSP 12 see separate record for details. FILM A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
