This is the moment a Texas cop forced a woman to the ground and handcuffed her after she refused to wear a mask inside a bank. Bodycam footage shows an officer pinning 65yearold Terry Wright down insidea Bank of America in Galveston after she ignored staff requests to wear a face covering inside the building. The incident unfolded on Thursday a day afterTexas Gov. Greg Abbott ended statewide orders requiring people to wear face masks in public places. He declared that businesses should decide for themselves what COVID19 precautions to take in their properties and many have kept their own mask rules in place. In the Galveston incident, the woman complained to the cop that masks are no longer required in public only for the officer to remind her that businesses are entitled to enforce their own mask rules.
