Sheffields New City Hall (1932)

Full title reads: Yorkshire, Sheffield s new City Hall costing Â500, 000 which has taken 16 years to erect opened by the Lord Mayor a monument indeed worthy of this great City Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Civic dignitaries, including the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and members of the City Council walk in procession. Crowds of people are out to watch them. The procession, led by a man carrying the civic ceremonial mace, walks up the steps of the City Hall. Dark interior shots of man reading speech. Exterior shots of the new Sheffield City Hall. The speech carries on over the shots of the building. C, U Pan along inscription reading Sheffield City Hall.
