HISTORICALLY ACCURATE CRUELLA, , Dalmation Fur But Make It Medieval ( Sewing the dress )
I was so excited to create a historically accurate Cruella De Vil costume I loved the new Cruella movie and decided to place Cruella in the 15th century. This was a time of fashion innovation and, quite importantly, furs that are also white with black kind of like dalmation fur. I created a medieval gown known as a houppelande, along with accessories and a headpiece. This video is all about the sewing and creation of that costume. Final reveal and getting dressed in all the layers will be in the next video PDF Tutorial for the Houppelande: PDF Tutorial for the Kirtle: More complete instructions for the headpiece will be on Patreon: Shoutout to McNerdy Costumes and Props for the help fabric shopping Become a Patron and join the community to help make these projects possible, 3
