No White Peaks (1991) Peter

Just what possessed the legendary actor Peter Cushing to sign up to this recording is a mystery. Perhaps he was convinced by the makers that since Vincent Price rapped for Michael Jackson then this would be a sure fire hit. It wasn t. Peter reads an introspective poetry piece to a mildly rave styled backing track. The reading is impeccable, it just doesn t work with the chosen music style. More of an interesting footnote than an achievement I m afraid.
