Dead Body Found on Public Sidewalk, Downtown Los Angeles

At approximately midnight, LAPD and LAFD responded to a reported unresponsive person on a public sidewalk located near the intersection of 7th and Spring in downtown LA. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the person dead at scene. The cause of the mans death is unknown. He appeared to be a homeless adult male in his 50s60s. LAPD established a crime scene and noticed the coroner. LAPD Central division is handling the investigation.
