So my career path is being an environmental engineer I already have my degree and I am passionate about it and I plan on doing it full time for the immediate years to come. However, I also have a few invention ideas that I m passionate about that I believe are high quality and would add serious value. However, these are completely out of my field (one is a mechanical, automotive innovation) my question is, is it worth it to pursue these, or just leave them in the idea like to add, that the main goal with the invention is not the end goal of money rather I m seeking the satisfaction of taking one of my ideas and making it a reality through hard work.
