Turning Red Anne Marie on her first voiceover role, meeting her musical idols teenage obsessions

AnneMarie is interviewed by Stefan Pape for Disney Pixar s Turning Red. The film was directed by Domee Shi who won an Oscar for her 2018 short film, Bao. The film features Rosalie Chiang, Mei Lee, Sandra Oh, Mingas Ming, James Hong, Sasha Roiz, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyaas Priya. Plot: Disney and Pixars Turning Red introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13yearold torn between staying her mothers dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughteran unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body werent enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she poofs into a giant red panda Directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi (Pixar short Bao) and produced by Lindsey Collins.
