As he sets down the tray, he also places a sheet of paper in front of the woman. The woman, Phyllis Hillman, takes a rich tea biscuit from the tray. She takes a ruler and places it across the biscuit. She reaches across the table to pick up a knife, as she does this she notices the man reaching for a bowl of nuts on the tray and slaps his wrist. C, U of Phyllis using the knife to cut the biscuit in half. The pub, according to the narrator is the home of a new art form painting without paints art made from household items.
