Having grown up in a town (Fargo) that experiences both the harsh realities and joys of the changing seasons, it s strange to now be living in a place where one barely notices whether it s the dead of winter or the end of July. Seasons have always been important to methey re a way of marking the passage of time, cataloging experiences, and charting the evolution of relationships. This song tries in its own little way to capture how love between two people can change and mean different things throughout different eras and settings.
