Titles read: NOW THE Special Pathe Pictorial Section for the Ladies Fashion Goes To The Head. Probably filmed in Pathe Studio, London. Several shots of women modelling the latest hats by famous milliner Aage Thaarup who says the latest fashions are being influenced by the political situation. There follows a veritable feast for hatlovers The first is in black with a rather tall crown, front peak and two tassels on the top. Next is another black hat a sort of stiffened military beret with cord around it, similar to an Italian soldier s flat cap, says commentator. Next a cap with a high back peak in African leather and the rest in black felt. Then we see a beautifully designed feminine version of the Fascist cap, which Mussolini is so fond of wearing It is made of felt and has a fringe at the high front.
