Close Up Arrivals at London Heathrow Airport, RW09 L, 25 04 21

Spring is well and truly here in the UK now with long evenings and warm sunshine, It d be rude not to enjoy the weather by going out and doing some filming. I aimed for an evening venture this time, and from a different angle too, one I ve only filmed from once in the past. The thing I like about this spot, overlooking 09L is the fact I can actually film touchdowns, the only downside is due to the single runway ops that sometimes that view is obstructed by aircraft lining up to depart In the 3 hours duration of my visit there were quite a few movements, still no where near the amount Heathrow use to be. Still during that time there were some good and rare movements including an A340300 and a 747 Freighter. All in all a good few hours and it was also great to meet the man behind JJ s Aviation.
