07 19 2023 Arlington, KY Catastrophic Flash Flooding, Water Rescues, Mayor Sound

NOT FOR BROADCAST Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. Long creek rose way out of its banks causing massive flooding in the small town of Arlington. Many residents were stuck in their homes needing rescue. The town did not have a Fire department, so the mayor and another local man took it upon themselves to conduct heroic rescues with a small boat. Good sound with a few residents, the mayor and the other man helping with rescues. Some footage was captured from the back of a monster truck that was able to partially drive through the water.
