Twa Magicians (trad, Kim Edgar)
Here is Kim Edgar s take on the traditional ballad, The Twa Magicians, from which a fragment of the lyrics were found in Last Leaves of Traditional Ballads and Ballad Airs collected in Aberdeenshire by Gavin Greig, published in 1925, and set to new music. Kim based the remaining lyrics on the summary of the story of a blacksmith who importunately woos a lady.
