Sailing through US Virgin Islands. Enjoying the delights of St. John beaches, the charm of Charlotte Amalie and an interesting road tour of St. Thomas. From Sopers Hole, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, we motor the short distance across to the island of St. John, US Virgin Islands, where we checkin at Cruz. The beaches of northwest St. John are extremely beautiful and we relax for full 5 days, exploring by dinghy and trekking. Visiting resorts still devastated by hurricane Irma and the ruins of Annaberg sugar plantation. We then gently sail over to the busier and more developed main island of St. Thomas, and on the way, we pass our friends on s, v Gale, a Swan 66.
