Alpha Van: The Ultimate Ford E 350 Overland 4x4

Ujoint OffRoad is known for its 4x4 van conversions and incredible builds. This 2003 Ford E350 was one of it s most involved transformations to date. We catch up with Ujoint owner Chris Steuber as he walks us through the company s latest customer build. This van was built from the ground up to be the ultimate offroad van. The axles have been given plenty of beef, with a Dana 60 up front, along with a Detroit TrueTrac and 4. 10 gears. For helping it get over obstacles, the Ford 4x4 van has been given custom 6inch lift springs and some helper airbags out back. The 7. 3L Power Stroke engine, built by Swamps Diesel, puts out 435hp and 850 lbft of torque, but it has also been designed to be super reliable, since it doesn t matter how much power you put out if you break down in the middle of nowhere. To help put all this power down on the dirt is a set of Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
