Fushimi Inari Shrine Japan, Sacred temple handheld exploration
Short film taken at the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto Prefecture. Started in 700AD, this shrine is a dedication to Inari the God of gohan, rice. Statues of foxes hold messages and carry keys, scrolls and jewels in their mouths. This whole place takes a couple hours to walk through, the trail extends over 4 miles and at each corner there is a tori, (those orange gates. ) It felt like a blessing to be amongst thousands of tori. Shot handheld with a Leica SL
