Our unique purple HST 43274, EMR

With the retirement of our HSTs in May of this year, it would have been a shame to see the occasion pass without having a power car reliveried in our EMR brand colours. 43274 is the first (and only) unique purple HST to enter service on the Midland Main Line. The team up at Neville Hill depot have been working hard behind the scenes to strip the unit of its previous red LNER livery and repaint it in our brand colours, in time for its reentry into service on Wednesday 14th April 2021. 43274 joins our Intercity Swallow 43102 as the only EMRoperated power cars with unique liveries.
