Andreína Martínez FounierRosado(born 1997) is a Dominican model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2021 and will represent the Dominican Republicat the71st Miss Universe pageant. Martínez was born and raised in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republicand lives inNew York. She attended Bronx Bridges High School in the Bronx, New York. She is the captain of the schools softball team and also attended City College of the City University of New York (CCNY) inNew York where she earned a bachelors degree in psychology and Latin American studies. She was a summa cum laude. On November 7, 2021, Martínez representedthe Dominican community in the United Statesin Miss Dominican Republic 2021 and competed with 14 other candidates at the Salón de Eventos Sambil inSanto Domingowhere she won the title. Martínez will representthe Dominican RepublicatMiss Universe 2022.
