Herne Hill. Track enthusiasts and as nippy with a spanner or lever as with a tea tray M, S of a group of Lyons Corner House waitresses ( nippies ) attending to their bikes. They have bicycles turned upside down and resting on their saddles as they perform running repairs. C, U of one of the girls who checks the spokes on her front wheel. High angle shot of the girls stockinged legs (for no apparent reason ) Dissolve into a shot of them powdering their noses. Panning shot of men assisting the girls in checking tyre pressure.
